No1BroncoFan Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 We've got a couple drawings where circles in the model tab are hiding objects behind them like a wipout will, but only when printing or print previewing. Anyone know what could be doing this? We're using AutoCAD 2010 and the viewport shad plot setting is set to hidden. Thanks all. Quote
nestly Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Are you certain they're just circles, not cylinders? If you could post a sample drawing, that's usually the quickest way to get a solution. Quote
ReMark Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Could any of these circles have been extruded even slightly? Quote
No1BroncoFan Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Not cylinders, not extrusions, just baffling. It also seems to be intermittant (close and re-open the drawing and it sometimes goes away), but we've had it crop up on multiple machines. Quote
BIGAL Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Window pick the circle and see how many objects if 2 or more then need to find out what extras are. Bit out there are the circles not on world UCS but close so appear correct ? Quote
nestly Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I just learned that circles effectively do become wipeouts if their elevation is above the other objects when using the HIDE command, and/or also when plotting using the "Legacy Hidden" visual style. Quote
