skipsophrenic Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 All the best for gettin your degree mate, and welcome to cadtutor Quote
PS_Port Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 residential reference cds I have found at madaboutcad's website. I think I must be cynical...... You found them, your not the one selling them... considering this is your first post and all, and it's about flogging stuff.. These combined with this website have put me well on my way to getting my degree! wow, so for 50 pound I too can get a degree, by learning all the great stuff contained in those CD's give me a break.... tomharrison Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 Thanks ps port! I thought it would be helpful to people because the majority of blocks and stuff I have obtained for free or paid for have been pretty naff but these where really different. No you cant get a degree for fifty pounds its taking a hell of alot of hard work but using cad and having some good info to start with really helps. I was just trying to be helpful I didnt want to upset anyone with my first post I just wanted to say hi and put something back in as my knowledge of autocad isnt probably as good as most on this site. This is the first forum I have joined I'll think twice before posting anything again. Quote
ReMark Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Your first post almost sounds like an infommercial or one of those advertizements that claim "you too could be a fully certified brain surgeon in just 12 weeks!" It just seemed a bit strange. Quote
PS_Port Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Probably not the warmest of welcomes I've given......for that I am sorry. You've tried to explain your position and that I respect. If those CD's help you then great, pass on your knowledge here to others freely, as other members do. Best of luck with your Degree. Quote
tomharrison Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 Point taken I understand where your coming from I supose it did sound a little bit like that I was perhaps a bit to enthusiastic about the cds but they have proved to really good unlike some other junk drawings ive obtained and just wanted to tell you all about it I thought they where well worth a look. DODGE Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Yep I did a brain surgeon course a while back in under 12 weeks. The only problem was they only let me take them out and somebody else had to put them in. Ya gotta laugh. Dodge. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 You have to have a well developed sense of humour to participate around here or you'll go bonkers from the overabundance of geekiness. Quote
