Annotative Text to Palette

Hello,

 

I have a sample piece of annotative text that I dragged and dropped onto my tool palette. It works perfectly fine in the file I dragged and dropped from, but not in any other file. When I insert in into another file, the text is no longer annotative. I've tried searching other threads on here but am still not sure what I'm doing wrong. I gave the text style a unique name in the file I dragged and dropped from. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Block the text, then drag/drop onto the Tool Palette. Set the block to explode upon Insert by right-clicking and going through Properties.
