richard3009 Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 After converting all my mtext in a drawing to Arial it has dramatically slowed down the drawing text dynamics, if i move any text on the drawing the lag is unreal, if i copy any text it takes 10 seconds to appear, any ideas ? Quote
ReMark Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Change it back? What are your hardware specs? Is 2008 current with all updates? Quote
dbroada Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 we used true type fonts as our standard for less than 1 hour. We all prefered the speed of shx fonts over the style of ttf ones. Quote

ReMark Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Updates applied? Yes/No/I don't know? Is there an inordinate amount of text in this drawing? Are there xrefs? Has the drawing been purged? Have you started a new drawing and used the Arial font to see what happens? Did you specify a width greater than "1" for your Truetype font? Is the font sloped? Quote
