gargoyle27 Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 so the problem is simple, for some reason the line type scale is way out to lunch on one of the lines in a block i use, so i was wondering if you can change that LTS without exploding the block, or if i can change the LTS for the layer that specific line is on without exploding the block Quote
tzframpton Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 First off, you can simply use BEDIT or REFEDIT to simply edit the block, instead of exploding. Second, if you set all linetype properties in the block to "ByBlock" you can control the entire block's linetype scale via the Properties palette once you select it. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Just keep in mind that if you edit one instance of a block, it will change all instances of that block in the drawing. Quote
gargoyle27 Posted September 16, 2011 Author Posted September 16, 2011 yeah sorry, i fiddled with it and figured it out, i was initially a little wary of changing the lts for all the blocks, but they were all screwed up, plus the line was actually in a block inside a block, but yeah, sometimes i should try more stuff before i jump to starting another pointless thread, i apologize Quote

The only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked. Sometimes it helps the thinking process to talk it through. Remember, if you are struggling with something, even if you figure it out on your own, chances are someone else is or will struggle with the same thing. If it's discussed here, someone else might find the answer he or she needs. Quote
