tonika Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Hi, I would like to know how to scale along X or Y axis. When I use the scale command I only see uniform scaling option. Thank you, Anton Quote
rkent Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 You will have to make a block, then adjust the scale for X and Y. Quote
tonika Posted September 16, 2011 Author Posted September 16, 2011 Is this how you create a block: select all copy and paste as a block? I did that and scaled the block but the options are still the same Specify scale factor or [copy reference]. Am I doing it the wrong way or there are other steps I need to follow? Quote
Cad64 Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Scale the block by adjusting "Scale X" and "Scale Y" in the Properties palette, not the Scale command. Quote
JD Mather Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 ... options are still the same ....Am I doing it the wrong way or there are other steps I need to follow? Attempt to place the block, but before placing do a screen capture Alt + Prt Sc and attach the resulting image here. When I do this I see options to independently scale x and y. (or check Properties as suggested) Quote
tonika Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 I was able to scale the block using the properties (under geometry). Thanks all. Quote
