I'm so sorry about posting again. Just need to ask another question:

When i am working on a floor plan and use ML, sometimes i have to stop working on the plan or it stops the line by itself: How do i resume/continue working on the line without it creating a conflict?

Don't be sorry, it's what a forum is for...

If you end a line, multiline, or poly line and restart it, it will be a separate entity usually. You can strech your line to keep it as one entity, or there are a few ways to union seperate entities. Polylines can be joined, other lines can be glued ( with use of an old lisp called GLUE) I don't use multilines much . If your using ARCH, would a it be better to use walls for your floor plans?

I don't know if you can join an mline as you can a pline, but if you click on an mline go to multiline edit you can bring them together at a corner using the "corner joint" option.

And don't be sorry for asking questions. I've been using AutoCAD for around 15 years now and I STILL have questions!

Though I don't think it's possible to actually continue a line, you can do a lot of things to polylines with the PEDIT command, try playing with that. Probably the best way to "continue" would be just start a second new polyline where your old one left off, and then join the two together when you're done.
