GP_ Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 Thanks for the reply, the file exists VLLIB.DLL When I run the command VLIDE editor opens for a second and then disappears but is present in the Windows tray bar. Help Quote
pBe Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 even if you right click VLIDE editor on the tray bar and select maximize it still nothing? Quote
irneb Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Do you have an anchored palette? I've seen this happen: You're debugging your code, it pops ACad open for a user input, then VLIDE flashes opene but goes back to the acad window. Even using Alt+Tab sometimes does this. Tip: Try to keep your mouse cursor away from the side(s) where your palettes are anchored - or don't anchor any palettes. If it's not a palette, then there might be something gone wrong with the debugging process. Though usually when I've found this happening it would be the other way round (i.e. the acad window will not become active). Does the same happen after you've restarted acad? Quote

As I opened the editor I used the search function in the File Explorer window, the next it was gone back into AutoCAD Vlide. Shut down and restart the computer did not solve the problem. I solved now ... I quickly clicked inside the editor window when it opens for 1 second before disappearing and the editor has been displayed. I had already happened a few months ago and I thought I found the solution by reading a suggestion by Lee Mac in another thread but I could not find him. Thanks anyway for your concern. Quote
