Hi there i am working on a project where i need to have an elliptical building shell and then need to draw on it a hexagonal axis to draw space frame structure along side the surface of the elliptical surface. any help?

i have attached 2 images.one showing the elliptical building shell (done through lofting) and the second showing the sketch of the design required.
