hay123 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Hi, I just searched forum for posts relating to dwf, and nothing came up. Must have been mentioned before though I'm sure. Anyway, we have dwf's sent to us from our Telecommunications company, which we then need to add to our plans. In the past we've always printed, and scaled line and input into cad. Does anyone know if there is a program or something that will convert dwf's to dwg? (Oh, and telecom company will not send out any other format) Quote
Dipali Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 ability to bring in dwf file in drawing file like image came inot auotocad 2008 version. So get your boss to upgrade it, if you regularly have to do this. so that you can used dwfattach as mentioned by cadvision & bring in the dwf & trace over it. no need to manualy measure & scale. hay123 Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 Awsome. 09 is in the post as we speak, (or I write, whatever) Will the dwf only appear as an image? Can't create line work. Quote
ReMark Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 BTW...Yes, there are DWF to DWG converters as well. A search on the Internet will turn up a number of them. That's assuming you really need one. Your choice. Quote
rustysilo Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 You can also try this, but it doesn't work 100% efficiently. Quote
hay123 Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 Thats fantastic. Can't check until collegue goes to lunch, as I have some funky problems with installation of my viewer. But copy/paste special solution sounds like a 'gem'. Thanks for replys Quote
