Hi,

 

I encountered two tremendous problems today namely

 

1. I have a nylon joint to fit into an alu. traverse and the joint is slightly bigger than the traverse. In real world, this is not a problem, it had to be pressed or lightly squeezed into the traverse. Also, I have to lightly force the glazing into the joint and the latter taking form around the extremity of the glazing. Where should I start, given that I have no idea at all how to takle this issue?

2. Also in assembly everything was going fine when at the last minute, I am constraining plane-to-plane and one of the object keep rotating prior to effecting the mate.

You will have to model the two different states - Inventor is not going to automatically deform the solids for you.

For the second question you will have to attach the assemby here.
