psych Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 i have attached 2 files one is screen shot of 3 pipes intersecting. the other is the .ipt part file. i am trying to extrude the angled pipe to the other 2 pipes, and cannot get the circle to extrude to both surfaces. Also - sketch 2 is unconstrained. - you have a sick sketch - you did not need any workplanes - you could have done this all with one sketch of 3 rectangles revolved as surfaces and trimmed. JD Mather Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 Are you only interested in the angle pipe, or all three? If only interested in the angled pipe I would trim (as shown in my image history tree)> Then Thicken by Thickness and add Rip. You should then be able to Flat Pattern.
