jbush2404 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I have accidentally cut on some function in autocad that I can't figure out how to cut it off. Now when I select an object, it has a UCS icon (red arrow & green arrow) in the center of the object and you can stretch the object by using the arrow or the box in the middle. Anyone know how to fix this? Quote
ReMark Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 It looks like you have switched to the REALISTIC visual style. Switch back to 2D Wireframe. If you are working in 2D then click on the VIEW tab and go to the VISUAL STYLES panel and make the change there. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 you can also type VS at the command line and then hit 2. Does the same thing for keyboard oriented people. Quote
jbush2404 Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 :DThanks guys...this worked and is now set back to normal. Quote
nwt Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Thank you guys, it worked for me to! It was very disturbing and AutoCAD got very slow working with... Quote
nestly Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Although it looks similar to the UCS icon, it's actually the move .flv"]GIZMO. The guys correctly identified the problem as being in a 3D visual style, but the gizmo(s) can be suppressed in 3D as well with the variable DEFAULTGIZMO = 3 (yes, I noticed the date ) Quote
ReMark Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 You'll have to dig deeper than that nestly if you want to get today's prize for resurrecting the oldest thread. Give it another shot. Quote
