I have accidentally cut on some function in autocad that I can't figure out how to cut it off. Now when I select an object, it has a UCS icon (red arrow & green arrow) in the center of the object and you can stretch the object by using the arrow or the box in the middle. Anyone know how to fix this?

It looks like you have switched to the REALISTIC visual style. Switch back to 2D Wireframe.

If you are working in 2D then click on the VIEW tab and go to the VISUAL STYLES panel and make the change there.

you can also type VS at the command line and then hit 2. Does the same thing for keyboard oriented people.

Although it looks similar to the UCS icon, it's actually the move .flv"]GIZMO. The guys correctly identified the problem as being in a 3D visual style, but the gizmo(s) can be suppressed in 3D as well with the variable DEFAULTGIZMO = 3

(yes, I noticed the date ;) )
