raj banerjee Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 Hello, I have a 3d model in model space, in paper space I have a titleblock with 6 different iso style views. Is there a way I can export the title block and the view to another cad file which when opened is 2d? sounds a bit wierd I know but im leaving this firm and the lad who is taking over cannot do 3d so he will just have to manipulate the views in situ. SLW210 Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 In later versions, there is Export Layout to Model (_EXPORTLAYOUT). There used to be an early version of this available from Autodesk Labs for AutoCAD 2008. If you create the viewports with _SOLVIEW you can use _SOLDRAW to create the 2D and use _CHSPACE to bring the 2D into Paper space. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
