Tyke Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Does anybody know if its possible to convert a spline into either a 2D polyline or 3D polyline? I tried exploding the spline, but nothing happens. It seems that when a spline has been created it remains a spline forever. Quote
scj Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Hi, try out PEDIT3D from http://www.black-cad.de It should do the job. Regards Jochen Quote
CarlB Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Many posts on this topic, try a search of this site. Express Tools "flatten" is one way. Quote
feri Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Try www.bereczky.me/dxforigin/ There is an option to convert splines to polylines. You must have Java installed. Quote
rkent Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) In 2011, Splinedit command, Convert to pline option. Or select and right click. If the spline has various Z coordinates it will be converted into a 3dpolyline which can be exploded to lines. PLINECONVERTMODE, 1 = arcs, 0 = lines Edited October 27, 2010 by rkent Quote
