norm Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I am wanting to know how to go about making PDF's from Adobe Acrobat writer version 10, so i can place comments onto the drawing :ie Redlining Quote
Organic Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 - Right click on the file => Open with Adobe Acrobat - Click the big Tools button in the top right hand corner => Content => Add or edit text box => Colour red from drop down box on formatting bar It is much easier and quicker to print it and mark up (and then scan it if necessary to send the markup elsewhere) in my opinion. P.s. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it is cold in Melbourne this morning Quote
Bill Tillman Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 This may be a little late, but I would highly recommend a software package called Revu by Bluebeam Software (www.bluebeam.com). I was first introduced to this at the AIA show in Miami in 2010. It has features which make it great for marking up (red-lining) drawings. The price is not to bad compared to Adobe and I've noticed the latest version now has OCR. Adobe is starting to make strides to keep up with what folks like Bluebeam have done with the PDF format. But Adobe's pricing has always made me look at alternatives. Quote
ColinPearson Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Not sure what OP was asking about - was he looking to find out how to redline within acrobat, or how to make a pdf from CAD (presuming, then, that he knows how to edit in Acrobat). Anyway, if it's the former, Adobe PDF shows up as a plotter. Quote
