Architecture - Wall with concrete curb from foundation

Hi everyone.

I'm currently using the AutoCAD Architecture that came in the MEP 2012 package, and am NOT using Revit. Some parts are not present in Architecture to my knowledge so bear with me on this one. I'm trying to make my walls have the concrete curbs at the meeting of foundation and am having the hardest time with this. I have read about doing stacked walls and vertically compound walls but have found no real explanation of the procedure. Involved with the use of wall style families, I read of a family category on the project window; is that a tab, or a subcategory in constructs, or is it even default or do I have to make it? I need a lot of those links between these processes explained, for my deadline is narrowing so help will be greatly appreciated.
