johnshar123xx Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 AutoCAD 2008 1.) Is there a way to select multiple lines and arcs that are not connected to each other and have autocad add up the lengths. At this point when you select more then one line or arc, the "length" displayed in the "properties" window comes up as "*VARIES". 2.)Is there a way to convert a spline into a nice clean polyline. At this time the only way I can do this is by using the "FLATTEN" command which turns the spline into a line consisting of hundreds of points. I thank everyone for taking the time to read my questions, and putting the effort to possibly answering them. Quote
lpseifert Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 not so tough... 1.) look here for Tlen.lsp http://www.turvill.com/t2/free_stuff/index.htm 2.) There are a number of apps floating around, including one for 2009 in ade$k's bonus tools for subscription members. here's one found Googling 'Spline to Pline' http://management.cadalyst.com/cadman/Column:++AutoLISP+Solutions/splines-to-plines/ArticleStandard/Article/detail/101134 Quote
