motee-z Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Hello to all i have one autocad drwaing when i open it i got a message like is educational plot stamp detected. if you continue with this operation the drawing will be ploted with the following banner. produced by an autodesk educational product finish i use cad2004 any help to remove this letter or know the reason i plot the drawing then i got the banner at four sides of paper thanks
Galingula Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 If you're using the plotted drawing only for educational purposes, it shouldn't be a problem. If you are using a student copy to profit off of, well, I don't support that at all. If you own a legal copy and the stamp shows up, some one in your work flow chain doesn't own a legal copy and you need to track them down, and either stop using them, or get them to purchase a legal copy. There are ways to get rid of the stamp, but....
motee-z Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 i have made several drawing more than 100 but only the mentioned drawing showes this banner and the copy is legal i want to get rid of this banner thanks
Cad64 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Contact the person who supplied you with these drawings and tell them they need to provide you with proper drawings created with a legal version of Autocad, not a student version. If they refuse to comply, contact your Autocad reseller, or your Autodesk rep, and report them. The educational version is for students, not working professionals. Contact Autodesk and report people who are using the student version for commercial purposes. Be part of the solution instead of helping to perpetuate the problem. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2881274&linkID=9240617 Thread Closed
