Jack_O'neill Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hi, i want to align a line of length say 3m between two intersecting lines. Can someone explain me how to do it in autocad. I don't entirely understand what you're asking. Between 2 intersecting lines? How do you get between 2 lines that intersect? Sorry, I'm not following... Quote
smstoankur Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 I want to rotate the line around the lower point such that it is touching both lines. Drawing2.dwg Quote
eldon Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I always find that drawing a temporary circle helps with these rotation problems Quote
SLW210 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Like eldon, draw a circle with radius of the line, rotate>reference, Select center of circle (or associated end point of line) then intersection of line and circle (or associated end point of line), then select intersection of line and circle.
