Double Lines

I'm totally new to AutoCad LT, been using TurboCad. Just doing 2 dimension layouts..

 

Usually i represent a 2 in beam by a double line with a 2 inch seperation..

 

I cant find a double line in AC.

 

Also, how do i change the grid scale.. usually my grid is 6" x 6" squares.. in AC when i make a long line, i cant zoom out enough to see the end..

Use the MULTILINE feature.

When i enter MLINE it doenst recognize the command, and theres no symbol for it , only one for LINE

 

Does it matter that this is LT ?

I don't believe the multiline command MLINE is part of the feature set of LT.

Yup, no MLINE in LT. From memory in LT you can use a similar command, DLINE.

Thanks Nick! Dline works. I even figured out how to add it to the ribbon panel.
