For each type of drawing that we prepare we have a unique workspace with different ribbon and tool palettes.

About a month ago mine stopped filtering the tool palettes and now just displays all the palette tabs all the time. I have searched and searched for how to restore the palette groups.

My colleague's still works, mine does not. I have attached 2 screen shots of my dialog box ("Not Working.png") and the other one ("Working.png").

You can see that mine hase no options on the right hand side window, whereas the one that works has buttons to collapse or expand each different Default Group.

Any experts on Tool Palettes out there?

Try this on your colleague's computer:

type "+customize", hit enter

type "0", hit enter

right click on the group you want to export.

hit "Export..." or "Export All..."

save the file

then do the same on your computer, except use import.

I hope i helped you with this question.

Thanks dirkvandnkelaar. I'm not sure why I did not reply at the time. Tool Palette setting freak me out so much I probably could not face it that week because I feared I would need uninterrupted hours to work through it. It turns out that was not the case. Since then I have some machines in other offices doing the same and I have just now rectified them using your instructions.
