ReMark Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 You could have a corrupted drawing or the scale of your hatch pattern is too large. From the Daily AutoCAD website: "...or if you see ‘Unable to hatch the boundary.’ message from the command line, then it means that your scale is too big. Quote
sparkyuk Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 hello Chris it sounds like you need to make sure that the area you are trying to hatch has all lines touching or over lapping , You should use snap to make sure this is the case. Ps you should really start another thread in future Quote
ReMark Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Chris is in contention to win this week's prize for resurrecting the oldest thread. Quote
SLW210 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I have created a new thread, since this question is unrelated to the other thread and the other thread was 8 years old. As ReMark stated (or rather quoted) it is scale that is the culprit. The key info here was that solid hatch worked. Quote
sparkyuk Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I didnt read that solid hatch worked when I first read the question my mistake Quote
