blackeagle1245 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I want to see schedule of my hvac plans. It shows for example 400x400 ducts seperated by lengths. I checked settings but I couldnt find. Quote
tzframpton Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Have you set up an AEC Schedule in your Style Manager? There are pre-made templates that can get your started in the stock Template. Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 I created one but I couldnt just find it always shows it seperately . Quote
tzframpton Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 If you open the Schedule Style, you'll notice there's a "Quantity" checkbox. Make sure that's checked. Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 if I put check to "Include Quantity Column" then it just put all of 300X300 duct which are 1000mm to one column but still there are still a lot of 300X300 mm duct is seen. Quote
tzframpton Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Now you need to add a Length column to your schedule. Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 I added also here you can see schedule table of my plan. Schedule.xls Quote
tzframpton Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 So it worked. What else are you wanting to do? Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 It shows same sizes seperately. I want to see just one total size of 400X400 mm ducts. Quote
tzframpton Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I don't think you can do that without heavy customization. It kind of defeats the purpose of scheduling the duct, although I do agree in our profession there should be more parameters OOTB that can obtain this data. Quote
blackeagle1245 Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 so need to write formula I guess. Quote
tzframpton Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I don't think you can do that. I think the only way you can do it is if you only select 400x400 mm duct that is in the same system, and even then you'll still need to quantify each piece for a "Total", giving you multiple rows of different length ducts. I've already been through this hassle years ago and never could find a solution, even with asking on multiple AutoCAD MEP forums. Quote
