AutoNewbie Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 OK, heres the deal, I'm running Autocad mechanical and I want to copy workspace settings from > to >. I am using a plugin that setsup like so, "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ACADM 2011\acad.exe" /b"C:\Program Files\M.E.P.CAD, Inc\AutoCAD ARX90x64\Alarm\AlarmCAD90x64.scr" and I'd really like to work "/p > " in there somewhere. The goal is to use the 2D Drawing and Drafting workspace with this plugin.... Quote
BIGAL Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Using the cui you can create any combo of menus to make a new menu I have a mixture of civ3d & Acad same with toolbars svae as a workspace Quote
BlackBox Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 A workspace is saved within the Main CUI(x) at the time the save occurs. If your two profiles use the same Main CUI(x), then the workspace is present already, and simply needs to be set as current. If the two profiles use different Main CUI(x) files, then from the CUI Editor, select the Transfer Tab and open the CUI(x) file that has the desired workspace in the right pane, and drag into your current Main CUI(x) file. Done. HTH Quote
