spittle Posted December 21, 2011 Author Share Posted December 21, 2011 I had a thought but don't have MEP here to test it - do you think this would cause any problems? Create your 3D components, each component in a separate 3DXREF, and then overlay these into a 2DXREF where you'll cut your plan view. Then xref this into any drawings as required. You could do the same for sections but these would be held in a separate 2DSectionsXREF. I guess you'd essentially be following a similar file management system to Solidworks or Inventor.
