19cruthik68 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Is anyone here can give me the reason why whenever I plot the 3d drawings in PDF or in our plotter, Some lines or some drawings are not shown in the printed layout. please help me. try to check the red circle, there should be other stuff inside it. and in the second circle the one with the line should have a line itself, i just put some red lines to show in the drawing, but please try to check all.please anyone. Dadgad Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Have you checked in your LAYER PROPERTIES MANAGER to ensure that the layers containing all of those invisible items are set to print? Presumably, since you do not seem to be, or have not mentioned, any problem with the appearance of the drawing in your layout, you don't have any of those invisible layers set as NEW VIEWPORT FROZEN layers? 19cruthik68 Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 no problem with that layer properties. always working for that. but the problem is, yesterday i printed that drawing in A0 paper, and then some of the lines were also not shown in the print out, but then when i tried to print that this morning, it became worst, terrible, lots of line were gone. and one more thing is i didnt do anything yesterday, i just saved it and close together with the desktop and then this morning i just opened it and print again, but the result is not the same as yesterday.. Dadgad Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Have you run the PURGE and AUDIT commands on the drawing which is giving you trouble? Sounds like that might help, as if all of your settings and the drawing file were the same on both days, clearly you would expect to get the same result. It sounds like you have printed it to different sizes with differing results, makes me think that the issue is with your PAGE SETUP MANAGER or the SHADED VIEWPORT OPTIONS being inappropriate or different on the PAGE SETUPs you likely ran for your different size prints. Last but definitely not least, are the visual styles in your numerous viewports set to the correct VISUAL STYLES and Display settings? Check the yellow highlighted items on the attachment. Quote
