change aspect ratio

I need to stretch a drawing so the horizontal scale is different from the vertical. The stretch command does not seem to work for this and scale only seems to allow a change in both axes. Any ideas?

Make it a block.
Thank you kindly I will give it a try

Then when you insert the block it will give you options for scale on each axis.

Alternatively, you could use a lisp.

Scalexyz.vlx available here: - http://www.cadstudio.cz/en/download.asp?file=ScaleXYZ

Use command either scalex or scaley or scalez to scale the object(s) non-uniformly.

Note, press ENTER to get to a point where you can enter a scale factor.

This is quicker than using the block method.

There are however a few limitations as there is with the block method.

I am sure to be corrected if the following is not correct: -

Polylines will be exploded, Regions and 3D solids will not be able to be exploded after scaling.

My apologies, once again I am guilty of not reading all the details before posting.

Of course this will not work on LT.
