Peter Cowsill Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I need to stretch a drawing so the horizontal scale is different from the vertical. The stretch command does not seem to work for this and scale only seems to allow a change in both axes. Any ideas? Quote
Peter Cowsill Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Make it a block. Thank you kindly I will give it a try Quote
JD Mather Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Then when you insert the block it will give you options for scale on each axis. Quote
Peter Cowsill Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 Splendid no problem once I new what to look for, thanks Quote
Manila Wolf Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Alternatively, you could use a lisp. Scalexyz.vlx available here: - http://www.cadstudio.cz/en/download.asp?file=ScaleXYZ Use command either scalex or scaley or scalez to scale the object(s) non-uniformly. Note, press ENTER to get to a point where you can enter a scale factor. This is quicker than using the block method. There are however a few limitations as there is with the block method. I am sure to be corrected if the following is not correct: - Polylines will be exploded, Regions and 3D solids will not be able to be exploded after scaling. Quote

Manila Wolf Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 How does that LISP work on LT? My apologies, once again I am guilty of not reading all the details before posting. Of course this will not work on LT. Quote
