Jester321 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Hey everyone! I am a first timer here but have used AutoCAD for about 3 years now. I am working on a project and not really sure where to start. I want to create a site layout that would consist of multiple buildings. I have the AutoCAD drawing of each building and the location and orentation of each building in ArcGIS. Is there a way to import the data from ArcGIS into AutoCAD for my use? Also if this isnt the correct location for this could administrator move it for me? Thanks Adam Quote
ReMark Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I found this while doing a search about ArcGIS-to-AutoCAD. Maybe it might be of interest to you. http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgis-for-autocad/index.html Welcome to the CADTutor forum. Quote

Thanks Adam Standard Autocad you need an addin, either the one from ESRI or a better one from Dotsoft called mapworks. With AutoCAD MAP3D you can import or connect (live) to the E$RI data, depending on the format of the data and versions. Quote
