Currently my 2006 pc has come up with the blue screen I am now looking at new pc with window 7. I have been operating autocad 2005 land desktop, is autocad 2005 and windows 7 compatible with no issues.

Will your version of Windows 7 be 32-bit or 64-bit? What version of Windows 7 were you going to get?

It might work although will be a pain. Why not just get a copy of Windows Xp (secondhand from eBay etc)? Or otherwise upgrade to a newer release software package.

If its win7 x64 pro with 8GB+ RAM just install it in XP mode. Or buy a copy of XP and use vmware player.
