Kremer
Hello there, just upgraded to MEP 2012. I was setting up our starter file and noticed no 6" PVC! This is somewhat of a standard pipe size for us, is there a way to import an entire line size? Or (as I'm hoping) is there a way to just enable more line sizes? NH3man!
Seems like your upper size range in your routing preferences may be set to low or you have no fittings in the 6" size range.
Kremer
I will take a look at that, it should be noted 8" PVC shows up
tzframpton
Sometimes a fitting will limit the pipe size in Routing Preferences. For instance, the "Cross" fitting usually is the culprit. I usually change that to *None* and then the pipe size increases.
dumfatnhappy
man am I having trouble with the PVC (sizes)... routing pref says up to 24" but I just can't get a decent layout (up to 16 even") for roof drains! trying to get a sloped layout to cooperate is just that... TRYING!! how do I get my PVC (don't care if it's generic or what) to coop?!?
tzframpton
Just route it and place fittings for now. You can snap the nodes together, don't worry about the connections being made for the moment. If it's for a BIM coordination then that's all that matters for the time being. It at least gets you over the frustration to get what you need done so you can troubleshoot later.
