UMRVJX Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hi all, Is this possible to change isometric snap angle? which is by default set to 30 degree. Quote
ReMark Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Change the isometric snap angle? Hmmmm......interesting question. Not that I am aware of. Why? Isn't the default angle the preferred way of drawing an isometric or have they changed things since I went to school? Quote
ScribbleJ Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Isometric angle has (as ReMark stated) always been the same but you can change the snap angle that you draw at with the command SNAPANG. Quote
ReMark Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 If what you have to draw must be depicted at some angle other than what is considered standard for an isometric then perhaps you should consider the use of perspective. Heck, why not just draw it in 3D then extract any 2D views required? Quote

This thing not helps me because I need to draw some ISOCIRCLE which option is available only in the isometric snap. Quote
rkent Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Set the snap style to iso, then set snapang to what you are wanting. As long as the angle between axis lines are equal (120) it is still an iso. Quote
SLW210 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 To be an ISOCIRCLE it needs to be at 30° increments. SEE THIS & THIS If at a different angle you will need to manually determine the projections. Quote
