ReMark
Putting aside for the moment that you are working with AutoCAD LT what features from CADvance would you like to see incorporated into AutoCAD and why?
dboy413
well there is a function called "edit move multi" and it allows you to move multiple points of any object. I REALLY NEED THIS IN AUTOCAD!!
ReMark
Move multiple points? Don't you mean objects? How is the selection of such points/objects done in CADvance?
dboy413
if you have a box and i want to edit move(stretch) the upper right corner by windowing around it, then i want to edit move(stretch) the lower right corner of the box by windowing around it. thus moving the box to the right by 5' is just an example. this is a extremely simple example... I want to use this command to put 5' through a house...which is not an easy move with everything on the drawing dim., text, ect..... so if i'm not being clear!! I'm trying my best!! ReMark
And the AutoCAD "stretch" command won't work in this instance?
dboy413
I wish!! but it doesn't work. Is there maybe some company that might be able to create a custom comand for me??
ReMark
I doubt you'll find a company that will create a custom command for you that will work with AutoCAD LT. Keep in mind that straight out of the box LT has some shortcomings. Prime example: No ability to use Lisp. To remedy this situation you could add another piece of software called Toolbox LT 2008 by GlobalCAD. It adds, among other things, the ability to use Lisp, ARX and DBX functionality. For further information click on the link below: http://www.globalcad.com/products/toolboxlt.htm
