rkent Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Im using AutoCAD 2012 and I have lost the capability to dock my Layer Properties Manager to the left or right. Any suggestions? Always start your own post when the subject is changing to another question. You can right click on the right side of the palette and check allow docking. If that isn't it then set LAYDLGMODE to 1 and close and reopen the layer manager, try docking now. Quote
rod_smithsr Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 Oooops.. im new to sending messages here so i apologize. I set tge 'layerdlgmode' mode to '1' and now i get nothing at all... :-( Quote
rkent Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 It may be floating off screen. Do you have two screens or sometimes hook to another screen? Quote
SLW210 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I created a new thread for you named Cannot Dock Layer Manager. For future reference, to start a new thread go to the related forum or subforum and near top left you will see a green button with + Post New Thread, click that and start a new thread. Quote
rod_smithsr Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 I am using to monitors, but minimized all my apps and still there is no layer properties manager palette. Im dumbfounded. Quote
SLW210 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Two monitors, it is there somewhere. Had a thread on this just in the last week or so. Quote
