sam_dubya Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Hello all, I am new to these forums and Autocad, so please bare with me. I am trying to create a new scale for a view port, but when I select custom, the Scale List Edit box is missing. I have created a custom scale before and never had this problem. Autocad acts as if the box is open because I cannot do anything with the drawing, I must hit Escape to get back to it can anyone help me. Cheers Sam Quote
nestly Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Perhaps the dialog box is off-screen? If that's what happened, here's how to get it back. 1) Right click the Scale List button, then select "Custom" 2) Press Alt + Spacebar 3) Press the down arrow once, followed by Enter 4) Press the left arrow 5) The dialog box should now be locked to your mouse, so you should be able to bring it back on your screen. Dadgad Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Nice one nestly! There's probably no osmosis key for that one! Looking forward to your posting that Options shortcut, as I tried just about every possible (or rather likely) two and 3 key permutation trying to find it for you. Quote
sam_dubya Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 Thanks for that worked a treat! Quote
