M-Text disorganized in Adobe Reader

Recommended Posts

Hello:

A client of mine is unable to read correctly the pdf that I send him. The issue is this: I generate my pdf with the DWG to PDF.pc3 in my ACAD 2012 (64bits).

Within our office, the pdf looks correct, but when our client opens it, the mtext notes appear disorganized.

I am attaching two screenshots: text1 is how our pdf looks, text2 is how it looks when our client opens it.

The difference in image quality is because I receive a scan of what he prints.

Any ideas?

Wouldn't be an AutoCAD problem.

What viewers are being used?

Your client probably needs to upgrade to the newest version of Adobe Reader. You might try a different font as well. Not all fonts are created equal, so even if he has a font the same name as the one you are using, it may not be exactly the same.

My boss had a similar problem, though it was the printer used to print the document.

He already mentioned the image quality was due to the scan, it is the format of the text being different that is the problem.
