Desicon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Gentlemen. Due to a computer crash I lost access to my AutoCadLT 2007 program. I bought this product back in 2008 and have been using it since. I did not get a disc, I just downloaded it from the vendor's website. Now I'm lost without it and in big trouble. Is there anything you can help me with like a download site or a free disc or ideas on how to fix the problem? I have the icon, I know the program is in the computer but I just can't open it. It keeps gibing me a error that reads "ac1st17.dll was not found". Help, please. Quote
Dana W Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Here is a link at AutoDesk dot com to request a USB or DVD copy of AutoCad software. Hopefully they still support 2007 and you still have your serial number or activation code handy. Quote
Dadgad Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 You might be able to use a restore point on your computer, if you have one. Quote
SLW210 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 What were you doing when AutoCAD crashed? Quote
Desicon Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 To Dana W. Thank you. I filled out a request. We'll see what they tell me. To Dadgad: I did restore to January first. Everything works fine except Auto Cad. To SLW210: About a week ago, the computer crashed when I got on the Internet. I suppose I got a virus or something. Everything disappeared from "desktop" even my "start" window was empty. I inserted a disc and that window came up, so I did a "search" for system restore and did the restore as mentioned above. Everything reappeared and all programs work fine except AutoCad. I get an error message telling me "ac1st17.dll was not found". Quote
