jgbgod Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I've got multiple viewports, some need to be orientated as portrait and others need to be landscape. How can this be done without affecting the other viewports? Quote
bill_borec Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 If I understand your questions correctly, you have multiple viewports in the same paperspace? And you want to orient some of the viewports to landscape? Are you also wanting to change the UCS? I would use dview - twist in the desired viewport (unlocked). 1. double-click into the viewport. 2. DVIEW 3. TWIST 4. enter the desired angle (90) in degrees. Hope this helps. Quote
ReMark Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 VPROTATEASSOC Controls whether the view within a viewport is rotated with the viewport when the viewport is rotated. 0 When a viewport is rotated, the view inside is not rotated. 1 When a viewport is rotated, the view inside is rotated to match the rotation of the viewport. jgbgod Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Bill, you got that on lock. Thanks for the help. Quote
rkent Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Just rotate the viewport itself, simple as that. If it doesn't seem to work see Remarks post for the variable. Quote
BIGAL Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 We use UCS pretty easy just use the OB option to align then UCS S and give it a name in your viewport UCS R name PLAN all done. you can have as many UCS names as you like Quote
