stenews Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Hi guy, How do I create a concave fillet in AC2012? Usually, when I try to fillet one edge it creates a convex fillet. and if I want it to be concave instead? Thanks, Stefano Quote
nestly Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The only way I can think of at the moment is to draw a CIRCLE with the TTR (Tangent/Tangent/Radius) option then TRIM as needed. Quote
stenews Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Hi nestly, thanks for your reply. I see what you mean, and in case I'm working with a solid edge how can I workaround this? Quote
nestly Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Same concept, you just have to create a solid you can "subtract" from your main part... or create a surface you can use to "slice" the corner, or as in the video below, use PRESSPULL to do both in one operation. Quote
