Hi Guys

Just had a major problem trying to print to PDF.

I have adobe pro v7 on my machine, I have just tried to print to PDF as I have done a hundred times before. I always print to A3 and them email my the pdf.

I have changed nothing since I did this a day ago. Now trhe drawings plot to PDF but they are off the page in the pdf view.:cry:

Help they are waiting for drawings at the factory.

Also why we are on the subject, I have put adobe pro ver 7 on my laptop running win 7 and the PDF printer does not show up in AutoCad, Excel or word. How do I get it to show as I may have to switch to using the laptop untill I get the other prob sorted.

Thanks Dodge

Mess around with the options towards the lower left of the print screen. Try EXTENTS instead of WINDOW or LIMITS

This is why Page Setups are a really good habit to have. Whatever settings correct the issue, save the Page Setup and import them into any other drawings. :)

Just tried all this still no good, I can't understand what has happened. I haven't changed a thing.

Should I just set up another A3 sheet and try that?

How do I get Adobe printer to show up in AutoCad printer selection on Windows 7.

I can't see the PDF printer anywhere when I go to print, not even in word or excel.

Why not use the "DWG to PDF.pc3" plotter instead? It works fine for creating PDFs, plus you can utilize batch plotting using the PUBLISH command.

Thanks Sky

How do I use that. I can't see DWG to PDF.pc3 in the drop down printers.

Can you give me a step by step.

DWG to PDF.pc3 printer is automatically installed if you have autocad in your laptop or pc.

Repair or reinstall your autocad
