The Nickster Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Hey guys, I've been running into this problem for quite some time and it is annoying. I'm using AutoCAD MEP 2011. I don't know if this makes a difference in regular ACAD or not... I've noticed that if the 'line' command is active and I drag my crosshair over the top of a 3D object the face of that object will highlight and this causes my machine to lock up and I have to restart everything. Is there a way to turn off this auto-selecting face attribute? Quote
The Nickster Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 The picture above shows the face of the object being auto selected..this was right after my cad session locked up. Quote
ReMark Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 You want to disable face highlighting or selection preview? Quote
ReMark Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 In plain AutoCAD one can look on the Selection tab of Options. See also Visual Effects Settings. Quote

I don't have MEP either, but since a Command is active, it could be SELECTIONPREVIEW as ReMark suggested above, or it could be Dynamic UCS (UCSDETECT), or a combination of both. Quote
The Nickster Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 UCSDETECT worked like a charm! Thank you very much! Quote
ReMark Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 With three seconds remaining on the clock the ball is inbounded to nestly who runs the length of the court, pulls up, shoots (from waaaay downtown) and he SCORES! nestly does it again! That guy is amazing. Quote

Dadgad Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Stats aside, the glory is always gonna go to the 3 pointer right at the buzzer. Quote
