Can someone please tell me how to import and implement my saved .cuix file?!?!?!

I finally got that new computer for work and REALLY don't want to have to redo all my toolbars and stuff.

you should just need to replace the one in your support directory, althiough it might be in your root, can't remember where it is off the top of my head.

I just my workspace back... sad face.

I just redid it. I have my toolbars and palettes and stuff EXACTLY where I like them... but when I imported my cui file, everything went haywire. So I redid everything.

I guess I'm confused on what you were doing and what do you mean by haywire? if the old cui was what you liked and you loaded that one it should have turned out looking like your old cui?

I think I didn't import it right... it didn't work.

please try it.

The way to do this is as follows.

1) Open up your shared project.

2) In the menubar, select File > Export Shared Project to File (this creates a regular RP file).

3) In the menubar, select File > Import from RP File.

4) Import the RP file you exported in step 2.

5) Click "Next" until you get to Import Annotation Fields and View.

6) Check the fields and you want to import.

7) Click "Skip to end"

8) Click Finish.

All you need to export or transfer is your workspace that you use. In the CUI use the transfer tab, create a new cuix, drag and drop the workspace then save. Watch where its save to.

Then in the new PC use the load partial cui to bring in that saved customized file.
