mtnequip Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 thank you but i already have those programs.....niether of them are API flanges....those are ANSI flanges..... I am also looking for XXH heavy pipe fittings....any suggestions???? Quote
Organic Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 What exactly is an 'API' flange? Have you tried contacting (or even looking on the website) of whatever company it is that supplies you with these for CAD files? Quote
mtnequip Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 API flanges are for high pressure vessels and have different gasket options than ANSI flanges. Quote
SLW210 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 But what difference would this make to your drawing? Most, if not all, just use the ASME/ANSI B16.5 blocks, dimensionally they are very close, most likely why no one has API blocks. As mentioned, check with manufacturers websites and an email or a phone call usually will yield some results. Quote
