frans1954 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 how come the attributes of inviseble visibility states are visible after the explosion with the command BURST TITELBLAD.dwg Quote
SLW210 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Because you BURST them. BURST-Explodes blocks, converting attribute values to text objects. Quote

SLW210 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 With all of those visibility states, I do not have time to go through them all. But, like I stated... BURST-Explodes blocks, converting attribute values to text objects. You should be able to find a LISP to remove all invisible attributes prior to bursting. I saw you posted this on Autodesk forum, maybe someone there will find you a LISP. Why are you trying to BURST this block? Quote
frans1954 Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 If the block about 30 times is used, the size of the file, after the explosion of these blocks is smaller than approximately 3 times without exploding. The file containing the exploded blocks is also noticeably faster. Quote
MSasu Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 You should not forget that those hidden attributes may be there for a reason (i.e. to be extracted by/to a third-part tool) therefore removing them may cause you troubles later. Regarding BURST command behaviour, I think this is quite logical – it convert the attributes to text entities and since this entity doesn’t support invisibility state (except by layer, of course) will be user’s decision to remove those from drawing.
