addesigns Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Is there a way to use the pen weights, .ctb file that we use for AutoCAD 2010 and use it in Revit MEP 2010. If so, could someone tell me how to bring it into revit Quote
RobDraw Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Sorry, but Revit plots use something totally different from a .ctb. Quote
tzframpton Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 RobDraw is correct - no more Plot Style files. Thank the Good Lord for this, too. You control Lineweights using Object Styles in the Visibility/Graphics Dialog Box. Quote
addesigns Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Well that just stinks. My coworker was hoping to be able to use our penweights for this one time revit project he is doing. Quote
tzframpton Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 No, that doesn't stink. Plot Styles would ruin the intuitiveness of Revit. When are people going to realize that Revit is not a "drafting" program? You don't "draw" in Revit. It's nothing like AutoCAD at all. Quote
