Dynamic Simulation : Cylinder in cylinder sliding joint

I am new to Dynamic simulation but familiar with constrains. I have a aluminum rod and a linear bearing block. What is the procesure for sliding the linear block on aluminum rod. I have placed a mate constrain on em.

Have you had any training in Dynamic Simulation (an advanced topic)?

 

Looks like you will want to end up with a Prismatic Joint.

(one degree of freedom - translation on z-axis in your case)
