Printing raster images

Recommended Posts

I have a raster image in my drawing and there is no problem when I print it from the model - everything is printed.

But when I print from the layout the image desapears. I did again the viewport and print the layout. Right after the view port is inserted (large scale) the print is ok, but when I put the drawing on a smaller scale the image is not plotted.

How can I plot this? I have two images inserted both with 111MB. Sometimes one is ploted, and the other no, and now both aren´t plotted. :(

Just a thought: Are you using the whole image? If not, I would try clipping out the unused area. That way it will reduce the size of the image file. I've had a similar situation myself, and this seemed to work out pretty well.

I had something similar when using the publish command to print a set of about 10 drawings. One with a raster image on would not print. But, when I open the drawing and print with the exact same page setup its fine.

Were you plotting in the drawing, in the standard manner? You werent batch plotting/publishing?

One more thing: did the print preview look ok?
