grasshopper Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I'm attempting to uninstall autoCAD 2009, I keep getting a message reading: - Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and that you can write to it. I have located the install log..... no what. Thanks in advance Quote
Dadgad Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 On the Autodesk website there are very specific instructions for uninstalling their software. You might want to check there. Quote
daft vader Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I always keep my older versions Installed, as some times I find I like doing certain things with the older version Am I alone in this or do others do this as well ? Quote
Dadgad Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I tend to clean house when I have to, occasionally using a previous version, like with 2013, for instance. Interested by it, but not yet worth the aggravation of using it full time, so still using 2012, until they get it sorted out. Quote
the ber Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 You need administrator rights to the pertinent files. If you are a restricted user on your computer, then you won't be able to install or uninstall such programs. Quote
