Tiger Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 after the UCS command, you use Plan > Current to twist the viewport. Quote

michaeloureiro Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 what a want to do is rotate a view in paper space without rotating the object in model space Quote
Tiger Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 In Paper Space, activate the Viewport in queston, type UCS, then choose a rotation-way (many too chose from, if simple 2D drawing that you want to turn one way or another, enter 'Z' and then an appropriate angle). Then type Plan and C for Current and Enter. One way to do it. Quote
nocturne00 Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 You could also use DVIEW, it wont mess up your UCS, just rotate the view and it wont affect the view in MS Enter a viewport, DVIEW>hit enter 2x>TWIST Quote
Guest dingo Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 My method, and I know it's not the prefered way, is to create a new UCS for the viewport. UCS, N, Z, enter angle for rotation View, 3d views, plan view, current UCS then reset the required viewport scale Quote
