Nummer78 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Help! With four hours of Autocad experience in 1997 I have been issued the task of putting map grids on building plans. I have a number of builing plans that I must put a square grid over, with 2 meter between grid lines according to plan scale. Can anybody advice how I do this as simple and fast as posible? Quote
Dadgad Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Welcome to the forum. Not nearly as daunting as it seems. You can turn on your GRID in MODELSPACE, and set your X and Y spacing accordingly. Quote
ReMark Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Or you could use the array command or even a hatch pattern. Quote
fuccaro Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Draw two lines and use the Array command. Make a block "large enough" and insert it in all the drawings. If those drawings are at real scale (and that's the right drawing practice!), you are done. Otherwise you must change the block's scale accordingly. Quote
